A new series to love while Tana French is writing her next book

Burn it all down
Obviously books about rape aren’t the easiest reads in the world, but this one actually felt easier than most. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot to get angry and be horrified about in here. It’s just that the authors presented their material in a way that wasn’t gratuitous or overwhelmingly gruesome. I really want to be that person who can just pick up a bunch of books that look good and end up loving them. Does that really happen to people? I usually end up having the best experiences reading books that have been recommended to me via various sources (including CBR of course!).
