First, this book was great, and I’m reminded of my oft-forgotten intention to find more Sleator. If you like Stine, but want a slightly older and more sci-fi bent, then you’ll love his books. Childhood favorite

A great Aussie mystery
This book was a great read. I enjoyed the characters, the mystery, the revealing of information, the pace, and the feel of the book. It’s always exciting reading books from Australia and understanding the feel of everything.
