There is no doubt that Anne Bishop can write a compelling and entertaining story. The problem is that lurking under that very compelling and entertaining story is an ugly miasma of misogyny and -in this book’s case- racism. I love these books. But, hey, what exactly was silver?
I know there’s been quite a difference of opinion on this series, but I’m going to side with Malin here. This is my favorite current series of books. I’m a little bit in love with them.
