I had seen Sanderson’s name on Cannonball multiple times, but I wasn’t sure where to start. A friend recommended Mistborn, so I figured a double recommendation (meatspace friend and CBR folks) was a pretty sure thing. Brandon Sanderson is ridiculous. He’s all, here’s a surprise novella, and no big deal, the entire thing is made up of such game-changing ridiculous nonsense, you won’t even think it’s real as you’re reading it!
