I want to send out an enormous “THANK YOU!” to CBR’er CrystalClear for the wonderful book exchange gifts. I love them! Dan O’Brien is an editor over at Cracked.com, but he used to have a weekly column that I very much enjoyed. His writing was largely irreverent, geeky, nerdy, juvenile, etc, but he also has an incredible fascination with US Presidential history. I have been wanting to read this book for a long time. I read Ned Vizzini’s “It’s Kind of a Funny Story” sometime last […]
Mange tak!
Seriously the CBR community is the best. Not only did I get this wonderful selection of books, but I also got a really thoughtful card, in my own language no less. Still, I have exams coming up, so currently they’re brigtening up a desk buried in school papers. It’s hard to tell from my blurry picture […]

Christmas Just Got Merrier
A huge thank you to Joemyjoe for these two books! A.S. King was at a convention I recently attended so I’m glad I have a chance to read Reality Boy and I’m always interested in books about Spain. I’m looking forward to reading these as part of Cannonball Read 8! Thanks, too, for the bookmark. Not only do I like the slogan, but I’m always in the need of bookmarks.
