I am ashamed to admit, that although I have read pretty much every single word ever published by Stephen King, and most of Joe Hill, and even some of Owen King, I had honestly never even considered reading Tabitha King. Texas Dracula. But also a murder mystery and police procedural. I’ve owned this book in hardcover since it was first published in 2006. I’ve always read King with a bit of detached bemusement. I love his writing for the languid ease with which he captures the chronic normalcy of everyday life in a small town.
