Going down the only Road I’ve ever known!
I know, I know, that was super cheesy. But, if you’d read this book, you’d want to find some sort of humor, too.

Excellent review. Love McCarthy, and The Road is my favorite work of his just ahead of Blood Meridian. Strangely, I find his dystopia oddly comforting. Reminds me a bit of a desolate North woods. You’re most correct in stating the ending is horrifying; even my single, childless self choked up a bit. Thought the movie was great too.
