There are blue lights everywhere, crazy zombie deer are running around, and the police have been possessed. It looks like a job for the indie kids, Satchel, Dylan, and Finn (A different Finn from the one who died at the beginning). It’s part of the book, but it’s not what the book is about.
Mike, his sister Mel, and their friends Jared and Henna are fairly normal (Aside from little issues like OCD, anorexia, being 1/4 god). They aren’t the Chosen ones who have to defeat the new Big Bad, they just want to graduate high school. It’s their story, with the other stuff going on in the background. I loved this book, a lot.
