New to reading m/m romances, I was taken aback by the raw, coarse, and descriptive language of Nick and Bryce’s sexual encounters, which seemed to occur at about every other page after the initial friendship building set up. As a result, I certainly got some updated sex education reading Crossroads, a Gay-for-You romance.

As I always say, I enjoy M/M romances because I agree with both of them. The gay for you trope, though, always seems to be like a cheat. Can’t they both just be gay or bisexual? No one in a M/F romance has to come to terms with their sexual preference.
I’ve read this one and thought it was pretty good. I prefer Elle Kennedy/Sarina Bowen’s Him and Us books. I have an LGBT list on my blog:

Yes, I’ve read Him and The Understatement of the Year which lead me to Crossroads but haven’t reviewed them yet. It’s been a couple of months and some details regarding the other two books are getting crossed in my mind, so I need a quick review/re-read of them. I remember enjoying them both a lot, though.
I didn’t realize you had an LGBT list on your blog. I’ll check it out. Thanks!
