Books are the best gifts!

December 18, 2016 by yesknopemaybe 3 Comments

Many thanks to Malin for spoiling me this year. So excited to have a hardcopy of The Hating Game which I read and loved earlier this year (I’m so behind on reviews ya’ll). It’s a book I know I’ll be rereading whenever I need a pick-me-up. Fingersmith and The Princess Bride have been on my to be read list for literally ages so I’m thrilled to get my hands on those for 2017. Thanks again!

I totally snooped through your Goodreads TBR list. The Hating Game was a given, and the other two are among my favourite books of all time, so it seemed very serendipitous that you hadn’t read already read them.

How have I never heard of Fingersmith? Goodreads makes it sound awesome!
(and the Princess Bride is sooooo good)

Fingersmith is so great. You’re best off going into it not knowing too much about the plot, because there are some really nice developments along the way. I love it.

The Korean indie movie The Handmaiden, directed by Chan-wook Park (which I’m still waiting for a Norwegian release for) is based on it.
