The Saga continues…again. Volume 4. This is getting serious.

March 28, 2018 by ardaigle Leave a Comment

Volume 4 of this incredible series keeps its foot on the gas. Marco and Alana seem to be hitting some problems in their relationship. Okay, yeah, so the entire story hinges on them having to run from multiple groups of people trying to kill them, so it hasn’t really been a cake walk persay, but as a couple, they have been a passionate sexy love bomb for quite awhile. They are starting to fray on the edges, and more tumult is forecast for the couple.

Alana has taken a day job in a sort of next wave soap opera, where the acting is live and even more adult in content than what you would find on the worst (best?) daytime TV. This is a choice she makes for her family, but this “career path,” quotations included to show how unpleasant a path it is, is a gateway to drugs, whiiiich she then rationalizes (in a loop) for her family. You can see the writing on the all and it ain’t pretty.

A vigilante robot starts a path of havoc leading to consequences for many, to include an unlikely partnership for Prince Robot, and I can’t wait to read the next volume. Again! Except I will wait, again, because I am taking my sweet sweet time to appreciate the awesomeness that is this series. If you are looking for something with humor, darkness, mature themes and don’t mind graphic violence (or are looking for that too) what are you waiting for?

I am a born and bred southerner and recent transplant to the Midwest. I read because I want to, because I NEED to, and because I'm possibly ignoring the frigid temperatures. Until spring, and then I may read outside. I also enjoy cooking, witty banter, and cheese. All the cheese. View ardaigle's reviews»
