Bingoin’ Right Along

It’s October and we are moving right along with the CBR10 Book Bingo Reading Challenge. With 7 weeks left, there is plenty of time to join and play along.

Y’all are amazing! So many great reviews and so many bingos! We have 37 players and over 360 reviews. Only cantankerous curmudgeons wouldn’t give you a round of applause.

 

This check-in post is a place for you to ask questions, ask for recommendations for categories, and find a review buddy if you need one. You can always post your questions in our Facebook group – Cannonball Read Book Chat, or on Twitter @cannonballread. We will also post the prizes we have so far. Check out our Instagram feed where we are posting pictures of the prizes every week. Finally, we’ll be posting administrative notes and reminders.

Administrative Stuff

• Please remember to tag your bingo reviews with cbr10bingo, and not “CBR10 Bingo”.
• Also, please remember to clearly indicate the category at the top or bottom of the review. My eyeballs thank you.
• If you are looking for free ebooks, particularly to fill the This Old Thing category, check out Project Gutenberg. (There’s an app for that!)
• If you are stumped on the Snubbed! category, try googling award winning *insert favorite genre* novels and see which books come up and which awards they have won. The Grammy Awards for Spoken Word are also a great source for nominated audio books.
• Check out the Cannonball Read Book Chat on Facebook for more category suggestions.

Bingo Game Card Pictures

If you are keeping track of your reading on a physical or digital Bingo card, feel free to share a picture of it on social media and tag the post with #cbr10bingo to show off to your fellow players. You can also upload it to the regular CBR Media Library just like you do in any post, or email it to rochelle at cannonballread dot com and your card will be added to this or future check-in posts. There will also be a roundup for a future Cannon Fodder newsletter and a wrap-up post here on the blog at the end of Bingo. You should also feel free to write your own wrap-up post when you have finished playing Bingo.
