Happy Jolabokaflod, everyone! As is tradition, we all just opened our Cannonball exchange books, and everyone is over the moon.
Big thanks to avivaguthrie, debcapsfan, blackraven, and fainting violet for filling our home with Stuart Gibbs and World War II and glorious graphic novels (Mockingbird!) and narwhals and horses and unicorns and book plates and Homegoing and Born Confused!

I made jokes about swinging by to hand deliver because I’m a dork. That’s my husband’s favorite WWII book ever, so I hope it’s good. :)
The book is constantly being flipped through and he’s throwing out all sorts of WWII stats at us all the time. I’d say it was a HUGE hit!
So happy everything was a hit. I had fun picking things out and give the narwhal a hug from me!
Just so you know, the narwhal is named Meatball.
That is AWESOME!!! I might have to “borrow” that for a dino I was given this Christmas, too.
