Uninspired, unlikable, unbelievable.
I don’t think I have the appropriate words to properly convey how disappointed and infuriated I was with this book. Alas, disappointed again.
This review contains mild spoilers, but anyone who has ever read romance novels (or simply has a brain) would be able to see them coming from a mile away. Lisa Kleypas is one of my favorite authors, ever, full stop. I don’t normally read children’s books, but I saw a review for this one here, thought the cover art looked adorable, and so decided to purchase it for my young nephew.
