I'm a graphic designer for a local community bank looking to improve my writing skills. I've always been an avid reader, but never completed a full cannonball. I'm aiming for a half-cannonball for 2019.

Tereasa's Reviews:

Not exactly a sequel

Daniel O’Malley’s first novel, The Rook, is easily one of my favorite and satisfying books I have read, so I made sure to add Stiletto to my must-read list. I read a few early reviews, so I wasn’t surprised by the fact that Stiletto isn’t a direct sequel to The Rook. In The Rook, we meet Rook Thomas right after she lost her memory and gained her powers. September 24, 2018 by Tereasa Leave a Comment

I began reading comic books in the early nineties. Damnificados is a story of survival, of diversity, of faith, and of the fantastical. We are introduced to the Damnificados (a population of misfits and vagabonds) as they fight a two-headed wolf and its pack to take residence in an abandoned skyscraper. This building was built with corruption and constructed upon a heap of garbage and has been unoccupied since the death of its “mayor.” The group is successful and lead by a reluctant leader, Nacho, and the Damnificados build a thriving and sustainable community within the tower […]

Return of the Dark Knight

I was introduced to Frank Miller’s work in the 80’s when I was given some issues of Daredevil. His art is his own style, but his storytelling – the way he wrote and his panel by panel flow – drew me in and I became a fan. Back then I had to purchase most of my comics via mail-order with my hard earned cash (part-time job as a teenager), so I wasn’t able to collect much of Miller’s work. My next Miller purchase would be […]
