Snow by Walter de la Mare is part of the Four Seasons series that he and Carolina Rabei (as illustrator) have created. Rabei’s illustrations are the main reason I enjoyed this book. Red and Lulu is another book that is deeply set in the true Christmas spirit. It is about love and family and the joy of the holiday. There is information about the history of Rockefeller Center and the Tree that stands in the center of it at the end of the book. A Whisper in the Snow, due to some slightly choppy language, caused me to have to stop and start a few times. The text is rich, but I think it might have been translated.
