Ughhhh, I need to write a review of this but I don’t wanna. Oh, I’m feeling so whiny today. But it’s hard! Writing a review of this is hard! It’s too smart and I have too much to say! WAHHHH. I said in my original review that I might come back later and give this five stars, and indeed that has happened. I’ve only read through Vol. 6, but that’s enough to know how much stuff this was setting up, how much was going on […]
Joe Hill delivers a super creepy fantasy horror comic.
Okay, so I liked this! It was creepy but not scary, and it was intriguing without being overly complicated. Alphona is a definitely talented artist; I simply would’ve chose a different art style for the book (more like this or this). For those unfamiliar […]
The Last Chapter
When someone you love gives you Avatar; the last airbender you really know you’re good at picking people to love. Still the tv-show was over far too fast and it left a sadness in my life, like reading the last, final chapter of Harry Potter back when J.K Rowling actually had us convinced she’d never touch the story again. So when I got the Avatar; The Promise comics for Christmas I put them on my bookshelf and for many months enjoyed simply walking past them; knowing […]
