This was another instance of I Want More (but maybe, a little differently!) Cory O’Brien retells popular and lesser known myths in a style that reads more “Internet blogging” (all the CAPS) than “published author.” It’s fun and entertaining for the first few, better known, myths but it gets old and makes some of the unfamiliar myths harder to read. This book is ridiculous, but very very funny. If you have a twisted sense of humor and no issue with constant all-caps swearing, you ought to check it out. Apparently Cory O’Brien has a blog where he’s been doing this for years, but I’ve never read it so I started fresh with the book.
