Go Ahead, Read it Again!

September 7, 2018 by genericwhitegirl 1 Comment

Can you believe the first Harry Potter book is 21 years old?!? Harry would be in his 30’s by now! Hagrid would be in his 80’s! A baby could have been born when the first book came out and be able to drink today! I’m amazed at how timeless and magical the books still are. And even after my having read this one 3 times and seen the movie, there are still little treasures here and there that I discover each time. I love Rowling’s […]

I was house sitting for a work friend and she had left the books on the kitchen table with a note that I might enjoy them. I read all three over 2 days. I remember going to my local Barnes & Noble and being devastated that the 4th book hadn’t been published. I remember reading the last book in the Toronto airport […]

Yer a Wizard Harry!

January 29, 2017 by Caitlin_D 3 Comments

Excluding one or two books over the last three years I have been exclusively reading New-to-Me books since joining CBR. This year I wanted to reread some books I hadn’t read in a few years and while I really want to tackle some of the books from my high school English classes I started with Harry Potter. I am a huge fan of the movie series (despite owning all the dvds I will still drop everything if Freeform is running a marathon) but I have only […]
