I don’t think I really have anything to say about this one that hasn’t been said already – yes, Lucy Parker consistently writes very good contemporary romances. This one was good but not quite as engaging/addictive as her previous novels. I think she chose a heavier subject for this one, and it reflected in the novel. You don’t have to read Act Like It, but you should read Pretty Face first. You should read them both because they are delightful, but Pretty Face provides a lot of context.
