I’m not sure why AS King isn’t a worldwide phenomenon, worshipped by all who are lucky enough to read her books.

This is the fifth AS King book I’ve had the pleasure of reading during my tenure as a Cannonballer…I read Please Ignore Vera Dietz way back in CBR3, Ask the Passengers in CBR6, and earlier this year I read the mind-bending Still Life with Tornado and the amazing Glory O’Brien’s History of the Future. The Pagoda! Featured in a Book! Am I Dreaming?

May 28, 2015 by Melina 5 Comments

Please Ignore Vera Dietz is a very good book.  It was an even better book for me because I have lived my entire life (aside from college) about a half an hour away from Reading, PA.  Reading, PA is not a very nice place in most areas (no offense Reading, I still love ya baby!). It’s a depressed town that seems to continue to crumble apart over time, but…they have the Pagoda.  It was built in the early 1900’s and it was supposed to be […]
