If Grace Helbig is the Internet’s Awkward Older Sister, then Mamrie Hart is the badass aunt who has the best stories and is always sneaking us sips of booze. I mean, the woman built her career out of making (and consuming) cocktails. That alone made me think this book was going to be good. And then when I found out each chapter started off with it’s own drink recipe? Well, pour the shots and let’s get to reading.

Have you seen Camp Takota, the movie she made with Grace Helbig and Hannah Hart? It’s absolutely adorable.
I have! It’s what kicked off my adoration for these women. Reading this just made me want to watch it again.
At BookCon, I sat next to this cool girl wearing a Camp Takota shirt. Super jealous. Mamrie was amazing, but all the millenials kept screaming and cooing over her pal, Conor Franta.

My first though was that I’m completely jealous of you. My second is that I love her for making drinks on stage. My third is that I have literally no idea who Conor Franta is.
I’m not big up on YouTubers. The only reason I know who Mamrie et. al. are is because they were on @midnight to promote the movie, and I loved them all so much. I think I am too old to understand the mass appeal of YouTube stars and I’m at peace with that.
