Am I reviewing my own book? I am! I don’t know if I’m the first Cannonballer to also write a book while completing a cannonball, but so be it! This collection puts together the first three of my splatterpunk novelettes: Boogeymen, Boogeymen 2: Creature Feature, and Boogeymen 3: Mischief Night. They’re fun little gorefests, each getting progressively bloodier, and chockful of pop culture riffing. Soon to be in paperback form!

Fun story. While I was writing the third installment in the local Panera Bread, I overheard two girls discussing their veterinary medical texts in great and gruesome detail. I could tell they thought they were being particularly revolting, parsing all these different medical procedures. And all I could think is: if only you knew what I was writing, you might actually vomit. When you read the book, it was the werewolf football field slaughter. WEREWOLF FOOTBALL FIELD SLAUGHTER. Which will probably end up the next goddamn Syfy movie.
I think that’s going to be my new mantra when I need to get my head clear and in the game.
