Before it becomes way to late to express my gratitude, I want to thank Alexis for the awesome books she sent as part of the Cannonball 8 Book exchange. Winger by Andrew Smith and Uprooted by Naomi Novik have been on my TBR list and high up at that. Now I have a good excuse to bump them all the way to the top. The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson is new to me, but I’m always looking for new fantasy series to jump into. I’m looking forward to some good reading in 2017!

Winger is so, so good. I hope you love it as much as I did. And I got the same Sanderson book from narfna!
I’ve owned The Way of Kings since 2013 and it’s been on my TBR list since even before that. I think Ashley’s been nagging me to read it since we became friends on the internet. I finally started reading it this morning. It’s certainly a big book to start the year with.
I took some liberties because I noticed a strong connection between fiction books on your TBR pile and “books I love” so I went off-list with The Way of Kings. It is a beast of a book but I feel the series is one of Sanderson’s best. I hope you enjoy them!
