YAY! I hope you enjoy these. I spent hours trying to narrow down something that would be useful for TAing.
inGenius was particularly instructive for my pedagogy. It’s really easy to worksheet students to death, but I found that making them DO things creatively (a) pisses them off that they can’t sit in my class and sleep; and (b) helps them think critically about the books that we read and papers we write. I hope you’ll like it, too.
Also, if you can track it down, I also highly recommend the book, Beyond Tests and Quizzes, which has helped me with end-of-semester projects that are WAY more fun than a standard essay or test for the final exam.
Have fun teaching!!! I have found it to be the best thing ever (no lie), and love college students, even the derpy ones who don’t bring a pencil to write with.
