Thank you, Malin, for these wonderful books and bookmark! I can’t wait to get started. I did indicate that I have read no Terry Pratchett (for shame) and would welcome a romance, and behold! My holiday wishes have come true!

Ooh, she sent you TWO copies of Good Omens? I only have the one with Aziraphale on it. That book is gold, so two copies is excellent.
Malin gave me Hogfather in the exchange several years ago, and you could do much worse than starting to read Pratchett with that book, which I found rather heartwarming in addition to being clever and tongue in cheek like Pratchett usually is.
Ooh, also, The Hating Game=<3
I will take this advice. I am looking forward to reading all of these. I remember a certain group of 7th grade boys, back when I was teaching, who LOVED Pratchett. They were my fun, quirky students, so I’ll finally start catching up to them.
So glad the books arrived! I really did not intend to send two copies of Good Omens, I think that must have been some sort of Amazon special, because I just checked the order, and I’ve only been charged for the one book. It’s one of the best things either Gaiman or Pratchett ever wrote, so it’s well worth having. Since you now have two, I guess you now have the awesome option of deciding which one to keep and then you can bring the gift of Good Omens</I into the lives of someone else (if you want).
While Hogfather may not be a natural starting point for the Discworld Universe, it is the most seasonally appropriate for Christmas time (hence me gifting it to Narfna a few years back). It features one of my favourite Pratchett characters, Susan the Gothic Governess.
The Hating Game is a great starting romance. I hope you like it.
I’ll post reviews for sure! I hope I can get my 13-year-old to read with me, but he’s not the bookworm I am
