It’s that time of year – wrap-up time! Submit your three best and one worst books of the year below. Include the link to your post so people can get to your review. If you have something you must say about any of the books, add your comment.
Submission time for Best/Worst of CBR11 is closed. Watch for our yearly wrap-up post on Pajiba. To see the choices we made in years past, visit our Updates page.
Guess who just put a reminder in her calendar to complete this by the due date because she wants to read a couple more books before making up her mind? This cannonballer!
Great! Looking forward to your choices.
I have more reading to do first. This is going to be hard, I have really loved most of the books I have read this year.
Same! And like emmalita, I’m worried I’ll read one in the last three weeks of the year that I’ll wish I could have put on.
I meant faintingviolet. I need to go eat.
I thought maybe we had spoken telepathically
Well clearly we did because you posted this right before I posted another comment below where I questioned if you had said it somewhere else.
I love all of this.
It’s already happened. Record of a Spaceborn Few could have been on the list. And now I’m listening to Children of Time. I can’t finish until next year so it can go on next year’s list
Wait, was it you? Did you say it in a review? Whatever, doesn’t matter. Clearly you agree.
I think it’s a pretty universal feeling among Cannonballers
I have a LOT of reviews to catch up on writing but I’m actually going to make a full Cannonball this year for the first time! So I’m not going to read (at least, finish) anything else meaningful until the new year so I can start off high.
This is so hard! I had two books I really loathed this year, but I could only submit one in the form. So I’m submitting the runner up here: http://cbr.bgwdesigns.com/2018/10/85942/ . It’s all about how much I hate Junot Diaz…
we’re running out of time – but not yet! get your choices in by 5pm today
Done . . . at the last minute . . . like everything these days!
