Episode 2-02: 1/16th Choctaw

January 18, 2019 by prisco Leave a Comment

https://killingmykindle.com/2019/01/19/episode-2-02-1-6th-choctaw/ Wherein I read: 4. Ex-Communication (Ex-Heroes #3) by Peter Clines 5. Verses for the Dead (Agent Pendergast #18) by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child As I type this sentence, I wonder why Peter Clines amazing superheroes battling zombies series hasn’t already been optioned and turned into your favorite series yet. As I type THIS sentence, I wonder if Preston & Child got notes from some marketing douche and wrote this book like “Is this what you wanted, you f**kface?”

Episode 2-01: Tell Me Lies, Tell Me Sweet Little Lies

January 9, 2019 by prisco Leave a Comment

https://killingmykindle.com/2019/01/10/episode-2-01-tell-me-lies-tell-me-sweet-little-lies/ CANNONBALL 11 HAS BEGUNNETHED. Wherein I review: 1. Ex-Patriots (Ex-Heroes #2) by Peter Clines 2. The Farm by Tom Rob Smith 3. A Delicate Touch (Stone Barrington #48) by Stuart Woods More delicious zombies vs. superheroes where we finally meet up with the military.  And they wisely utilize Arkham Asylumishness.  A son must decide whether his mother is being gaslit by his father or if her entire tale is a lie.  Stuart Woods keeps being all Stuart Woodsy.

Episode 1-49: I Feel It Coming, Babe

December 27, 2018 by prisco Leave a Comment

https://killingmykindle.com/2018/12/28/episode-1-49-i-feel-it-coming-babe/ Wherein I review: 186 – The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn I guess psychologist is the new author in the dark thriller.  This was pretty much Drunk Rear Window, and I saw the twists, but it wasn’t bad.  And as we creep towards the finish, I ponder whether or not to keep doing the podcast or hang up my spurs.  And disappoint my twelves and twelves of fans.

Episode 1-48: Even Time-Traveling Nazis Aren’t Worse Than Trump

December 25, 2018 by prisco Leave a Comment

https://killingmykindle.com/2018/12/26/episode-1-48-even-time-traveling-nazis-arent-worse-than-trump/ Wherein I review: 183. Bill, the Galactic Hero On the Planet of Ten Thousand Bars (Bill, the Galactic Hero #6) by Harry Harrison 184. Deep Silence (Joe Ledger #10) by Jonathan Maberry 185. The Final Incoherent Adventure (Bill, the Galactic Hero #7) by Harry Harrison As Bill the Galactic Hero peters out (dick pun intended) so do I.  But first, I must high-five a billion times Jonathan Maberry for making Trump a useless tool in his Joe Ledger books.  A bunch of fedoras cried […]
