Animals Talking In All Caps is just the kind of wonderfully ridiculous book that you wouldn’t spend money on unless you have a really kooky friend/relative that you know would get a total kick out of it. And EVERYBODY has one of those, so it’s fortunate that this book is around. I mean, seriously: you have a friend/relative who needs this book. Trust me. Natalie better shut her mouth, I think. Where else can you see tigers waxing philosophical about Coldplay or geese playing at […]
Hey, boy. Who’s dreaming YOU?
Alrighty then. This volume from The Sandman series was loads of fun. I mean first off, some enterprising toy company has got to be making those ‘lil Dream and ‘lil Death dolls, right? Right? The Girl of Hrusch Avenue is a prequel that kind of puts a nice layer behind the heroes of the series. I highly recommend this to fans who want less […]
If You Want to Sing Out, Sing Out
When the missus says read this, I read this. Religion and spirituality and betterment should be like a buffet. Take what you’d like from everywhere and leave what you hate until you’re satiated. So Grout kind of touts her Law of Attraction/positive intentioning as science. In the form of experiments you can perform. It’s not nearly as dumb as The Secret, and hey, there’s no harm in it.
