Demons, and the Devil — Book Exchange!

December 13, 2018 by sistercoyote 3 Comments

Came home to a nice package in my mailbox, and these two lovely gifts from Malin! I might already have started reading Silver in the Road last night before deciding I should put it away so I could, you know. Sleep. And the Picture of Dorian Grey is probably my favorite thing Oscar Wilde wrote, so Creatures of Will and Temper looks to be an interesting re-imagining. Thank you, Malin!

Thank you, CoffeeShopReader! I’ve been meaning to read March ever since I saw John Lewis speak at LA Review of Books in the spring. And I will be able to get all the NightVale references once I read that one. I love tea too and excited to try them all. :)

If so, chances are that he is obsessed with cars.  And trucks.  And construction […]

A new book I’m happy to give a good home!

December 17, 2015 by faintingviolet 2 Comments

Many thanks to Captain Tuttle for my wonderful new book. I was so excited to recieve it that it went immediately on the bookcase in a place of honor, and I forgot to take its picture and post here. Now for the new year’s resolution to read the books I’ve received the past two years as part of book exchange. Outlander, your time has come… once I get done reading about RBG. :)
