I always tell people that 1984 is my favorite book (at least that’s what I tell people that I can’t tell the title of my actual favorite book to, “Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff Christ’s Childhood Pal.” If I’m honest, I’d put 1984 at number two overall, number one in literary classics) so I figured I should reread it again for the third (fourth?) time to have a firm appreciation of it. It never fails to blow my mind. The fact that Orwell could […]
Alot of things are like running way from lava in swim fins
I admit that I am so far behind the curve that the curve is a dot to me. Rather than whine on and on about how I didn’t know about this blog ( and subsequent book) by the fabulous and talented and bracingly honest Ms Brosh, I’m just going tell any and everyone I know that they must read this book. Like right now. I’ll wait. It’s less than ten bucks on Amazon fer crimney’s sake. You spent more on that disappointing Liane Moriarty novel. Every […]

The series has had a couple of board-clearing events in the past but this one felt different. Turns out I was right. Last year, Willingham announced he was ending both Fables and the spinoff, Fairest, this summer. Specifically the last issue will come out July 22, 2015 and be 150 pages long. […]
