My review of Volume One of Agent of the Empire is available here. Imperial Agent Jahan Cross is back in Dark Horse’s Hard Targets . Volume one focused largely on the suave, brash, and tortured Cross. It was a fun, if slightly melancholy, spybro story. Volume two is all about Cross the intel man. In this arc, powerful families of Serreno are clawing for power amongst one another and to determine Serreno’s place in the Empire. Cross is sent in to help sort things out. […]
A sexy, contemporary romance with comic book geeks
4.5 stars Lorelei “Lola” Castle and Oliver Lore got married in Las Vegas, as did their friends Ansel and Mia and Finn and Harlow. While their friends were busy getting physical all over their hotel suites, Lola and Oliver walked for hours along the strip talking, not even holding hands. Additionally, in real […]

On one hand, I’m so pleased for my Cannonball review to be something I loved; on the other hand, how do I even review Saga Volume 4? It’s insane: suspenseful, heartbreaking, raunchy, funny, touching, and freaking gorgeous. So, what happens in Vol 4, besides everything? Well, Marko and Alanna and family are still on the run from any number of people who want to bring them in for various politically-motivated reasons. While at first the outlaw renegade thing was kind of a turn-on, now it’s […]
