Key to My Heart

January 30, 2017 by Classic 2 Comments

What can I really say. I loved this book to pieces. It’s been a while since I can say that a book was picture perfect from beginning to end, but I really did find this book worked great. I had no issues with the writing, dialogue, plot, setting or pacing. I went and borrowed a ton of other Sarah Dessen books from the library as soon as I finished “Lock and Key.” I read this for the “Key to My Heart” square for Romance Book […]

Everybody here has been losing their minds over this book since it came out, so I knew I would read it eventually because I am a sheep and do what I’m told. BaaaAAAaaaAAAAaaAaAA. ANYWAYS. This book was great. Nothing earth-shattering or revolutionary, just straight up cute romance featuring hate-to-love protagonists. My only real complaint about it is that it wasn’t long enough. Critical thinking skills not getting much use here from me. *Or, because I’m watching Steven Universe for the first time right now, we might also say I went full star-eyes. I’m halfway through season one right now and already […]

Once More for the People In the Back!

September 11, 2016 by Ellepkay 4 Comments

Add me to the chorus of people loving this book!  I reread passages as I went along, I’m already reread Beth Ellen’s copy that she lent me, I intend to buy a copy of my own,  AND I’ll probably pick up an ebook copy one day when it goes on sale.  I suspect this will be a comfort read for years to come. I can’t even properly write about this book.  I had a big smile plastered on my face the entire time I was […]
