Book Exchange Goodies from Crystalclear

I want to send out an enormous “THANK YOU!” to CBR’er CrystalClear for the wonderful book exchange gifts. I love them!

Dan O’Brien is an editor over at Cracked.com, but he used to have a weekly column that I very much enjoyed. His writing was largely irreverent, geeky, nerdy, juvenile, etc, but he also has an incredible fascination with US Presidential history. I have been wanting to read this book for a long time.

I read Ned Vizzini’s “It’s Kind of a Funny Story” sometime last year. Things weren’t great and it really helped me get some perspective. I’m totally going to get around to writing the review someday. It was supposed to be for CBR7…

Lastly, the package also included the Midwest Winter Survival kit: Wool socks (helpful since I staunchly refuse to keep my place warmer than 62 degrees), chocolate, and an R2-D2 Pez dispenser. Unfortunately, I picked up the package from my leasing office just after coming back from The Force Awakens, so R2 was unable to accompany me. I’ll have to see it again I suppose…
