When I heard that Cannonball favorite Rainbow Rowell was joining the Marvel team, I was certainly intrigued. I’m not a huge Marvel fangirl, but I had faith that Rainbow wouldn’t sign on to a project that wasn’t worthy of her. So, at her urging, I went to the library to pick up the first two volumes of the original Runaways, written by the always great Brian K. Vaughan. And, of course, Rainbow was right. Saga, Vol. 7
Every time a new volume of Saga comes out, it turns into a race between my wife and I to see who can check it out first from the library. She beat me this time. I am no stranger to the amazingness of Brian K. Vaughan. I loved both “Y: The Last Man” and “Runaways” so when a friend offered to loan me “Saga” I was on board. I enjoy graphic novels but don’t frequent shops or seek them out regularly, so I know I’m a bit late to the game (the new volume was just released) but better late than never! And of course, I love this series just as much as the previous two. This is definitely a […]
