Punny Titles are the Best
I love a good pun and Lumberjanes continually delivers. The title of the fifth volume plays on band in the literal and “come together” uses. Because this is the Lumberjanes, the literal band is made of mer-people, and coming together is one of the best traits of these hard core lady types. Nope, not for me.
I wanted to like this, so so much. But I had so many problems with it, and ultimately didn’t enjoy myself while reading. Like a lot of people (non-comics nerds mostly), I was introduced to Black Panther and T’Challa in Captain America: Civil War.
