I liked this one as much as I liked Dragonfly in Amber and Drums of Autumn. A definite improvement over the last several books, although I did enjoy #7 as well, if not quite as much. I’m officially caught up on this series now, and that feels weird! These books are so long, and they’re still not done! Not even going to try and sum up what happened in this book. It was a lot. There was a lot of drama, but unlike in past […]
I did like the bit where Theresa discovers how to make “magic elf-bread”
3.5 stars This is a re-read. My original review of the book can be found here. As of me posting this, the book is on sale for $0.99 at most e-book retailers. With the next volume in the series just […]

Goodbye, Bridgertons, I hardly knew ye.
This book was a bit of a mixed bag for me, which is sad since it’s the last Bridgerton book, and I would have liked the series to go out on more of bang rather than a whimper*. And I really genuinely enjoyed the first half of the book. It was fun and bantery, and I liked that neither our hero nor heroine were really very self aware, and thus instalove was avoided. But the second half lost its way. *I would also rather it […]
