Long Book is Long

This book covers the longest period of time in all of the Outlander books to date and it was noticeable. Despite going on many side adventures all over North Carolina, the Frasers et al are largely based on their land at Fraser’s Ridge in both this book and the one that proceeded it, The Fiery Cross. In May 2016, a friend I met through Ravelry brought my attention to a Kickstarter for a book her friend Karie Westermann was writing called This Thing of Paper, with knitting designs inspired by Johannes Gutenberg and the printing press.
