After seven novels, the Throne of Glass series has concluded. Overall, I enjoyed the novel and the series and basically devoured this book in less than three days. And it was long! I also may do a reread now that they are all released though I apparently should have started it before this novel. I couldn’t quite remember who all the supporting characters were and how they came into play – which makes sense because while it’s only been a year since the last Throne of Glass novel, that one was […]
Selina Kyle and Celaena Sardothien Have a Lot of Similarities
I love Sarah J. Maas, even though I also admit that parts of her Court of Thorns and Roses series feel slightly inspired by/ derivative of Anne Bishop’s super trashy yet addictive The Black Jewels series. Something about the long lived winged warriors seems too familiar for Maas not to be pulling either from the same inspiration as Bishop at minimum, if not from Bishop herself. In fact, Maas is the reason I even became interested in the DC Icon series despite being more of […]

Bad Beauty and the Beast fanfic
I read through some of y’alls reviews and I apologize up front because I’ve been really looking forward to writing this review about how laughably awful I find these books. I’ll include a few more disclaimers. I think these books are trash and I do this to myself because this is the second time I’ve read these series and that’s like one and a half times too many. But not only did I read all three, I reread them. I have only myself to blame for […]
