What Alice Forgot

December 29, 2014 by competitivenonfiction Leave a Comment

One of my favourite soap opera tropes is the use of amnesia as a way to clear the decks and move an otherwise stale character forward. However, now that I’m no longer watching soap operas because my husband won’t let me have cable I’m a contributing member of society who is above such nonsense, I occasionally need to get my fix of silly plots from books and netflix. When I saw that What Alive Forgot is both by Liane Moriarty and focusses on amnesia, I absolutely had to read it.

Secret
