This is kind of a bummer in general. I hadn’t planned on reading this, and even thought about reading it one day at Barnes and Noble and just sort of decided not to. Then, they had it available on Overdrive when I was sort of looking for something to take up some dinnertime reading. And now I have read it. It’s like a what-if comic book or one of the evil ream episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. It’s not only not very good; […]
The Plot Thickens
So my reading progress has crawled to a halt. And it’s all because of these darn books! They’re so engrossing that I can’t seem to find anything else that will hold my attention. It is going to be very difficult for me to separate the book from the movie so I apologize in advance if you’re not […]
The Cuckoo’s Not a Bird in This One
So I’ve been trying to set loose reading goals every year for specific genres in order to attempt to widen my reading habits. The first time it was romance, and I was wildly successful in reading tons of new authors. Last year I meant it to be fantasy, but that’s spilling over into this year as well. Oops. But this year is mystery. And I’ve started off with a bang! The Cuckoo’s Calling is the first in the Cormoran Strike series. Cormoran Strike is a […]
