The whole time I was listening to the audio version of Drew Magary’s The Hike, I wasn’t sure why I was listening, and yet I could not stop. It was a weird mix of my thing and so not my thing. My favourite book this year
Before this week, if you had told me that one of my favourite fantasy books I’ve ever read would be a retelling of Rumpelstiltskin of all things, I would have laughed in your face.
