Harmless YA fantasy with lots of potential for growth.

See, this is one of those books where you just NEED half-star rating options. Cough cough someone should get on that (GOODREADS). This is a three and a half star book, straight up. I liked it more than three stars worth, but did have some issues that prevent me from fully endorsing it (which is my line for giving something four stars–also, if I would re-read it, and not sure if I would yet). January 4, 2017 by ArchaeoKelly 3 Comments

Girl has nightmares about everything she went through saving her faerie lord and the faerie realm. Faerie lord fears for the girl’s safety and won’t let her leave the house. Faerie lord refuses to allow her to do anything. Then Faerie lord #2 swoops in–is it to save her?  Is it to call in […]

I started Cannonball this year with the rule that I couldn’t start a new book unless I’d at least written a draft of a review for the book I’d just finished. This rule was relaxed later to just writing a few notes before starting a new book. Now what I’ve been doing is just creating the document in Google Docs but NOT ACTUALLY WRITING ANYTHING. Do you know how frustrating it is to open a document, thinking there will at least be an OUTLINE of […]
